We’re delighted to be working with Animal Noise for the first time!

Animal-Noise-Castle-Manchester

Colchester trio Animal Noise are pleased to unveil their new single Little Things this November. Little Things, with its earthy, yet modern production (mixed by Gethin Pearson for Big Life Management) is described by Jack Gordon-Abbott, the band’s drummer as ‘a drop-tuned, riff-soaked ballad about temptation and obsession’.

The single is a follow up to the band’s Sink or Swim EP, which was released earlier this year. Since the EP, the band have been touring across the country including selling out their hometown show at Colchester Arts Centre, plus some high profile festival dates British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park, Standon Calling, Fling, Ramsbottom and Wilkestock among others.

Animal Noise’s music has recently been picking up love from key tastemakers God Is In The TV, Louder Than War, Sofar Sounds, Jammerzine, Indie Band Guru and XS-Noise, as well as radio support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Virgin Radio and SOHO Radio, and US College Radio Stations.

‘Blew my socks off. It’s a wonderful piece of music, played from beginning to end with such fresh, ferocious energy’ – Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music

Main support comes from Liverpool five-piece Veyu.

Opening the show is Peaks. Peaks is the latest musical venture from Manchester-based songwriter Ben Forrester. Having spent the past few years playing in noisy rock bands (predominately known as one half of riffy two-piece Bad Grammar), Ben has developed a solo act of beautiful loop-driven post rock pop. His second EP and third release of the year, Hollowhead, will be released on 2 December and has been described by Echoes and Dust as ‘an engaging, emotional journey, succinctly and directly putting its point across in a way that you can’t help but listen to’.
