Hey! Manchester was established in February 2006 to promote alternative gigs in Manchester. We started up because Jens Lekman wasn’t going to play here and we really wanted him to.
Since then we’ve promoted shows big (Of Montreal, Vetiver, Herman Dune…) and small (including a monthly folk night) and anywhere in between.
We strive to offer something different to Manchester gig-goers. We use unusual venues where possible and try to avoid the obvious choices. Our favourites are places like The Kings Arms in Salford and The Klondyke Club in Levenshulme.
We put on bands we love, not just anyone, and we hope that you’ll love them too. If you’re a fan of some of the bands we’ve already put on, chances are you’ll enjoy our nights - join our mailing list, above, to stay up to date.
