Beans on Toast at The Strines Nightingale

Beans on Toast is a British folk artist who we have worked with since 2013 – promoting 17 of his shows in this time, mostly in Manchester.

In recent years, we have invited Beans on Toast to perform at The Strines Nightingale – a lovely country pub situated between New Mills and Marple. In July 2024 he played on the pub’s newly established ‘woodland stage‘ to a sold out crowd of 150 people. Audience feedback included:

‘What a treat to be able to walk to such a glorious gig, surrounded by trees’

‘The legend that is Beans on Toast playing a gig in some woods down the back of a pub near Stockport’

‘Great night with good vibes and amazing people watching @kingkillership @beans.on.toast thanks for the lift guys. What a venue for a hot sunny day @strinesnightingale love you guys’

With the show being an all-round success, Beans on Toast made a return visit the following July – playing to an even larger crowd this time. Feedback included:

‘Beans on Toast gave proper woodland folk vibes last night
Been seeing him for like 10 years now and the Strines Nightingale gigs are always my fave. Such a cool little venue on the edge of the Peaks, always feels magic
Loved seeing that Glasto tree planted after it was just a baby in a pot last year’

Since then, Beans on Toast chose The Strines Nightingale as the venue to host his album launch show in December 2025 – yet another sell out – and has even made a song and music video featuring The Nightingale:
