We’re delighted to be involved in Ramsbottom Festival, helping to programme a couple of our favourite Manchester artists: Liz Green and Magic Arm.

The second annual Ramsbottom Festival promises a relaxed environment in which to enjoy live indie-folk music in Rammy, a bohemian bolthole just north of Manchester. Music-lovers, real ale afficianados, foodies and families will love Ramsbottom Festival, which includes arts and music workshops, storytelling, comedy, a funfair, an ale tent, independent food outlets and the impressively silent disco.

The line-up in 2012 features the likes of I Am Kloot, Roddy Frame (ex Aztec Camera), Admiral Fallow, The Leisure Society, Roddy Woomble, Thea Gilmore, Louis Barabbas and the Bedlam 6, Inspiral Carpets, Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls (The Wonderstuff), Jenny McCormick, the Janice Graham Band, Aircav and Beiderbeck. Hey! Manchester has helped pick this year’s line-up, chipping in Liz Green and Magic Arm, two of our favourite local acts, who will both be performing on the Saturday afternoon.

To make the festival more accessible, coaches are being laid on each day from and to Chorlton and the city centre.

Tickets are available via Skiddle.com, The Castle Hotel, Piccadilly Records, The Eagle Inn (Salford), The Parlour (Chorlton), A&L Music (Ramsbottom), The Met (Bury) and on 0844 884 2920.
