Songkick Detour

Calling all music fans: help us bring GOAT, MÚM, THE NOTWIST & JULIANNA BARWICK to Manchester!

Over the past few years we have been working hard to bring you some incredible live shows in Manchester. It’s always a pleasure to be there in the audience at these wonderful shows – from Jens Lekman and Owen Pallett through to Philip Glass and Steve Reich.

Now, in an effort to bring you even more of the shows you love, we wanted to throw you the following question:

Who do you want to bring to Manchester?

Our fellow music-lovers over at Songkick have recently launched a fantastic fan-driven platform called Detour that lets you pledge for artists that you want to see live. Here’s how it works:

Detour has already worked to bring Desaparecidos, GOAT, Zoe Keating and Aziz Ansari to the UK. So, it’s with great pride that we announce we are a Detour launch partner in Manchester.

“At the heart of Detour is a belief that true fans can help their favourite artists come to their city sooner,” says Songkick CEO and Co-founder Ian Hogarth. “Detour gives fans a way to help the artists they love, by stepping up and committing to buy a ticket, telling the band ‘If you come, I’m in’.”

So, let’s get to it: we’ve made a list of some of our favourite acts and we want you to tell us which ones you want to see live:

Go pledge now for these artists and more of your favourite bands. In our constant commitment to bring you the best in live entertainment we promise we’ll do our best to make it happen for you.
