We’re happy to announce our involvement in the Manchester Weekender 2013 – with a unique, intimate promenade tour.

Taking in the sights and sounds of one of Manchester’s most characterful and historic roads, this rather special event takes the form of a musical promenade tour along Whitworth Street West. Join Hey! Manchester and a small group of very lucky music fans as we stop off along the way at galleries, cafes, homes, offices and other unusual locations, greeted each time by a different musical act – from acoustic folk acts through to full-blown five-piece bands.

While they play a short set, take in the surroundings and enjoy some refreshments before the tour gets back underway. We’ll announce the five acts in the run-up to the day – so keep an eye on our Facebook group and Twitter account.

This promenade event will last approximately two hours and involves around half a mile of walking. Please dress accordingly for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes.

This tour is part of Manchester Weekender 2013 – a four-day celebration of art and culture in the city, organised for CreativeTourist.com. Read more here.

Advanced booking essential – this tour is likely to sell out. Tickets are only available through Billetto (no booking fee).
