EfterklangEfterklang (the Danish word for reverberation) are a post-rock group formed in the Danish capital Copenhagen in 2001. The group consists of five core members and a sixth member who makes films for their songs. When performing live, these six members are also joined by violinist Helianne Blais and trombonist Niklas Antonson.

They have released albums on the British/American record label The Leaf Label, but also have their own record label called Rumraket (the Danish word for space rocket).

We’d describe their music as lush, harmonious and cinematic – like Sigur Ros performing with a choir. Other people compare them to Múm, Colleen, Fridge, Broadcast, the Notwist and the Album Leaf. Decide for yourself here.

Touring with Efterklang is Portland, Oregon’s Peter Broderick (one for fans of Sufjan Stevens and Max Richter), while local lady Esker completes the lineup.

This is a co-promotion with Pineapple Folk.
