We’re pleased to be promoting Coruja Jones’ upcoming show – with guest Run Remedy!

Dreamy, melancholic, indie-folk. Expect beautiful songs with soaring high notes, combined with intricate, delicate guitar work into cavernous reverbs, plus killer grooves, which take aim at your heart. Coruja Jones has gained acclaim from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, and is fresh from touring with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Joe Jackson.

Coruja Jones is a songwriting project from Manchester-based musician and songwriter Dan Jones. Originally hailing from the West Midlands, he has become embedded in Manchester’s eclectic musical landscape. His debut The Crossing was released in April 2020 and he is now on the road in 2022 finally sharing it live, along with songs from his upcoming 2023 EP Undo, working with producer Sam Vicary (The Cinematic Orchestra).

Support comes from Run Remedy. Run Remedy is the brainchild of Robin Koob: a New Jersey-born indie rock operative with a penchant for candour and wisecracks. Raised on classic rock suburban radio stations by recovering church leaders, Robin started hymn-singing and violin’ing from an early age. Now an openly queer defector, her songs show a reluctant love for her yesteryears, as she dabbles with influences of Americana, early 90s indie, grunge, post rock, and snippets of evangelical worship.
