Your Space or Mine? with Future Islands
Another latecomer to our sphere of awareness: Islington Mill in Salford is hosting Your Space or Mine? tomorrow, Saturday 7 February.
This club night features a live set from Baltimore synth-poppers Future Islands, who sound something like Canada’s New Pornographers and maybe even a bit Postal Service-y – but don’t believe us; hear for yourself on their Myspace.
DJs are Lamb & Wolf, Invest in Property, The Beacon of Hope and friends, who promise to play ‘party tunes on the fly’ from two computers and Myspace and YouTube. Here’s hoping their net connection doesn’t drop mid-track!
This night begins at 9pm and will no doubt go on into the wee small hours. It’s only £3/£4 entry so you’ve got no excuse, especial as this map will hopefully stop you getting lost.
